　プログレッシブ・ロックの旗手と言われるピンク・フロイドの歌です。と言っても、かつて洋楽チャート番組のプロモーションビデオに一目惚れして購入したので、ピンク・フロイド自体はあまりよく知りません。とあるページによると、コンセプト・リーダーのロジャー・ウォーターズが抜けた後のアルバムの曲と言う事だそうですが。

　効果的なベルの使われ方で、最後は荘厳に盛り上がる曲ですが、歌詞が良いですね。コーラスの部分の "the taste was sweater" らへんは、そう来るかとシビレます。(>_<)プロモーションビデオも、不思議な感じの世界観を映し出しています。今ではなかなか見る事は出来ないかもしれませんが、今でももう一度みたい…必見です！私はシングルを購入したのですが、ポストカードも入っているし、シングルにはイラストがプリントされていて、豪華な感じな割に800円くらいでお得でした。

　当時、日本のシングルは8cmが主流だったので、12cmシングルの洋盤はほんとに「海外のＣＤ買ってるなあ」という感じで、変に気分が良かった物です。
